Area Staff

Hi! I’m Susan and I’m the Ministry Assistant at the CPBA office. I work with Dr. Griffin to keep the office running efficiently and to make sure everything stays organized. At the Area Office, we stay busy serving all the churches in our three associations. I’m also the Secretary/Treasurer of the Area Committee. I’ve worked at CPBA since 2009 and have enjoyed being able to help with all the things that go on at the Area Center. The best part of working here is all the people I’ve been able to meet along the way. 

 

I’ve been married to my husband Brian for 30 years. He is the pastor at First Baptist Church, Edmonson and is employed with the State of Texas. We have 2 sons: Edward who is a college student and David who is a senior in high school. In my free time I enjoy sewing and quilting for family and friends and participate in a sewing ministry to help meet needs in the community. I’m an avid Texas history fan often going antiquing and wandering about in small town shops and staying at Bed & Breakfast Inns. I also volunteer part-time with the Meal on Wheels Program.

Hey there! I’m Katie and I’m the Webmaster at the CPBA office. My job is a little different from week to week. I maintain our website and update it with recent area and church news. I also write our monthly church spotlight where I interview a different pastor each month to learn about their family, community, and church family. I’ve met so many incredible people this way and really love getting to sit down with someone new. 

 

I also work as the Student Ministry Assistant Director at Wayland Baptist University and I am the proud owner of Katie Trimble Photography. Besides loving photography, I also love to cook, hang out with friends and family, run in local races, and tackle new projects. I like the challenge of being able to make something for myself, including anything from new recipes to laundry soap. I love attending community events and getting to know new people.
